The BMC® private session can help any person who is looking for a state of deep relaxation in order to relieve physical and/or emotional tensions due to stress, traumatic circumtances, exhaustion, anxiety, pain, injury or long-term illness.

Practicing through a body language I observe and address movement patterns and the body-mind relationship. I offer basic nutritional advice, suggesting helpful resources for more sensitive issues, and simply listening all play a part of my capacity as a therapist.


On one hand, a session looks like a unique body work. You will feel more integrated, grounded, and gain clarity in how you perceive your mind in relationship with your body. We may engage with talking as much or less as you need. It is your session and I am at your service holding a space for welcoming all your parts with open heart and mind, offering my deep listening from my whole presence.

On a physical level, sensing directly your body through receiving different quality of touch opens up you accessing the embodied awareness of your attention, creates spaciousness and flow in your presence, invites slowing down and learning to rest to restore your energy in movement and/or in stillness:

- Guided by specific ways to focus on your body and letting go, through the movement of your breathing, experiential anatomy and visualizations, patterns of stress can be uncovered.

- Working with listening to how regulate your nervous system, through guided movement and touch, my approach balances and supports a fluid circulation in your body tissues, your organs, your bones structure, your bloodstream.....

- You can experience a sense of interconnectedness from the ecosystem of your body, a clear and soft container to feel yourself, revitalized, spacious.

- Clients receive a nurturing and protective pause for the natural healing process of the body to be activated.

I practice with the keys of intention, attention and presence in action and share somatic tools to connect and relate bodily movement to emotional, theatrical and performative expression to support your full body awareness and the depth of your expression and communicative tools in relationship with your audience. We dialogue of on how to dialogue with the awareness of your wisdom for you to become intentional in your artistic choices and the impact of y our audience.

On the other hand, a session can be combined with inviting your emotional and felt experiences. I believe we are always growing our individual body within the collective body throughout our ongoing interactions and reflection. My practice helps you to gain discernment in recognizing your internalized patterns, inherited through your family, lineages, culture, environment and how it impacts your embodiment.

Our well-being on a psychophysical and spiritual level is rooted in our capacity to navigate our ups and downs with trust in our cycles and the progression of our growth:

- By acknowledging your sensations, I help you access the dynamic of your feelings for what they are, the sessions invite you to inhabit your body, become more present and mindful about your postural and emotional orientations.

- Naming your experience, being received and heard, your embodied experience will guide your journey into understanding more clearly your desires and your needs.

- Practicing imagination as a powerful transformative tool to foster your creativity in multiple aspects of your life

- Reflecting from your embodiment process what is underneath the how you make choices in the moment to moment, from your past and toward your future and how you connect with yourself and others. From there, we can work together to identify what serves and/or doesn't.

- Engaging with compassion, inviting your inherent dignity to clarify your intentions and how you can grow new edges to empower yourself through choices aligned with your ability to co-create healthy relationships and boundaries.

Online session

  • For the session you need a quiet (as possible as possible) space for privacy, a surface to seat, move, stand, lie down. Comfortable clothes. Pillows.

  • As Movement therapist I use Body-Mind Centering, Body Mind Psychotherapy and Mindfulness practice to address your needs and support your development in a generative, creative and resourceful way for each unique individual

CANCELLATION POLICY

Please be advised that I require 24 hours to cancel or reschedule an in person appointment. If you cancel after that time, for any reason, you will be charged an administrative fee of $45 for the one hour sessions and of $70 for the 1,5h session.

WHAT DOES A Body-Mind Centering® private SESSION LOOK LIKE? We will start with a 5-10 minute talk about your specific needs and feelings. I will ask you some questions that will help to develop the session plan which is unique for each person. Using a massage table, you will lie either on your back or your belly, sometimes on your side. The base of my work is to hold a frame of quietness in order to support a state of mindfulness, sustained by the different qualities of touch which encourage the deep breathing of body tissues. My method focuses on accessing different layers of body systems in order to help you find a sense of comfort and a calm, energized presence. This is a moment to reconnect deeply with your whole body and all of its healing potential. The openness of your mind informs and impacts the vitality of your body.  Depending on your what is unfolding, I will accompany you and extend the session to integrate these qualities with your own spontaneous movement and/or through guided movement through you inner space and toward outer space.
A three- to five-session plan is generally a good format to address deeper psychophysical patterns, while one session is an excellent gift to yourself to feel relieved from immediate tension and stressful situations. For chronic illnesses, regular sessions over a longer period of time can benefit and support your immune system
