Somatic Movement BMC® Practice : Heart and Lungs

Our organs give us a sense of volume, the consistency of our integrity and play parts in our vitality and underlie our emotional responses . We will explore, looking at anatomical map, using self touch, breathing and sound; and let movement arise by the qualities you discover from the fluid spaces in between heart and lungs; and with these organs as support of our internal movement to express outward with ease. With the fluids system underneath, we will play with differentiating them, and initiate our movement from their different qualities; especially embodying our arms in continuity with these organs. We will visit in these sessions heart and lungs and their relationship to discover how they nourish our internal mobility and expression though guided movement explorations.
