Somatic Movement BMC® Practice : Heart and Lungs

We will explore, looking at anatomical map, using self touch, breathing and sound; and let movement arise by the qualities you discover from the fluid spaces in between and within heart and lungs. Balancing and combining in our expressions and gestures the qualities of elasticity, softness and lightness of the lungs and the earthy, grounded and powerful various rhythms of the heart. Playing with these organs as the support of our internal movement to express outward and empower ourselves between earth and space. With the fluids system underneath, we will play with differentiating them, and initiate our movement from their different qualities; especially embodying our arms in continuity with these organs.
