A somatics workshop offering movement, meditation, breath, journaling, and somatic drawing. Guided by images of air, trees, and wind, we’ll explore how energy moves and shifts within the body, and how our personal body stories connect to the broader ecosystems of social change and collective care.
This workshop acknowledges how our social and political experiences influence the ways we move through the world. In a culture shaped by urgency, intentionally slowing down can create space to notice what is present + attune to what supports our life force to flow. No movement or art experience is needed, just curiosity and a willingness to play. This workshop is trauma-informed.
Facilitated by Emily Thulier and myself at the Beautiful HELD SPACE studio in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
