This group is an invitation to connect through Mindfulness and contemplative practices to support and investigate our relationship to ethics and social justice values and actions. How can we truly learn to engage with compassion to free our relational being from oppressive forces embedded in our collective soma?
- Understanding and acknowledging where we locate ourselves as part of a large living system and humanhood at a biological, mental, psychic and spiritual, structural and cultural level within the wheel of power and privileges, we will appreciate and question together our identities and role and place in our communities.
- Learning from our body mind heart consciousness, reclaiming the power of our attention as a birth right for creative and full perceptive mind for breathing, sounding, moving, thinking, speaking, imagining how well-being shows up for us in our life.
- Bringing with immense gratitude some of what I experienced from the innovative and generative framework from leaders in the field, we will ask ourselves, learning form each other how social justice take roots, how do we define community and what means for us to follow a path of embodied activism.
