Journaling as Resistance, Rest, and the Practice of Remembering Ourselves
Guided by the wisdom of Alexis Pauline Gumbs (Undrowned) and Audre Lorde (Uses of the Erotic), where we’ll practice listening “beyond the normative ability to hear.” In this session, we’ll explore our relationship with silence and our agency to speak, creating space to rest, breathe, remember, journal, and reclaim our voices. Through body–mind–centering practices—including breath as a vessel for aliveness, sounding and humming, and collective readings—we’ll deepen into embodied reflection and the courageous practice of voicing our truths.
